Hi there, I'm Ahmad Yazree! 👋

  • 2nd year Games Development student in Teesside University.

  • I'm from Singapore and based in United Kingdom.

  • Highly motivated Level Designer with a burning passion for games development in general.

  • Great at adapting, I adore diving into new challenges and attempting to resolve them.

What do I do?

  • Environment design and 3D modelling projects as a hobby, especially creating cityscapes on Blender, Procreate, and Aseprite.

  • Worked with several teams in the past, including freelancing and in previous game jams.

  • Co-founded an indie games studio, Studio Anchovies. We're now developing a small game, called Dukun, based around our Southeast Asian culture.

Hobbies

  • I love to play a wide variety of games too! From Cyberpunk 2077 to Battlefield 6, Satisfactory to Anno series, Fallout series to Path of Exile, and many more.

  • Outside of the digital world, I love to hike and walk, cook and bake, travel and explore, work out, and indulge in different food!

The Division 2 Level Design (2025)

Software used: Unreal Engine 5, Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender

The goal was to design a level supporting a new main mission with approximately 30 minutes of gameplay following the story of The Division 2. I chose to use the Jersey City Medical Center of Jersey City for the base map.

  • Advanced Locomotion System (ALS) is used for the Third Person template.

  • Blender for additional meshes in the blockout.

  • Unreal Engine 5 for level & mission creation.

Gateweaver - A Portal Mechanics Suite (2025)

Ongoing Project:

A collection of powerful tools to bring Valve's Portal-like mechanics into any Unreal Engine project. Equipped with portals, a portal gun, velocity and momentum preserved, player and other actor interactions with the portals, and even an objects spawner.

  • Velocity translated between portals.
